The Chestnut Festival is not only celebrated in San Gimignano: during the month of October you can attend those of Arcidosso, Abbadia San Salvatore, on the Amiata Mountain, Palazzuolo sul Senio, Marradi, Piteglio and some in the province of Arezzo .

The events of this unmissable festival are the following: October 30th-31st, November 1st, every Sunday in November and more, December 8th-10th.

Besides being a way to taste local products, you can warm up during a walk in the historical center, in a definitely more intimate than the one to which you have certainly seen during the spring and summer months.
The event is organized every year by the Knights of Santa Fina Association, whose volunteers will work with their own stands just below the loggia of the Municipality to wait for you, from the morning to 10.00 am until the evening at 7.00 pm, and spend pleasant moments together.
